Typically, bigger cities are dirtier than smaller towns because the smaller towns can watch out better for those who throw trash on the ground. Bigger cities can’t control the mess from the citizens and visitors who leave their trash and filth around and not put in the correct place. In America, cities are dirty by trash being left behind, the air can be dirty and the water is dirty from dumping into it and polluted.
Some of these dirty cities include Baltimore, Boston, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Miami, San Francisco, Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Chicago. Even the capital of the United States is one of the dirtiest, Washington D.C. However, the dirtiest in America is New York City with Manhattan being the dirtiest area in New York City.
