Mining is not the most dangerous profession in the world. Over the years, development in technology and the use of modern mining equipment has reduced the dangers that is associated with this profession.
Nevertheless, it is still a dangerous profession. The most dangerous professions are: logging, commercial fishing, aircraft pilot, flight engineers, mining, iron and steel industry workers, military servicemen, refuse material collectors, electricians, professional drivers and construction workers.
