When someone says that they are dieting, most of the time people would think that the dieting person would be eating a lot of salads. However, the person may eat some salads, but there are some salads that are high in fat and calories. That is because someone put too many unhealthy things in that salad. This may include cheese, croutons and salad dressing.

Some salad dressings are healthier than others especially those that contain cream instead of vinegar. Most of the vegetables like cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, spinach do not contain fat. So they could be used in the salad. If you add salad dressing to the salad, you need to make one that contains zero fat. This dressing would have herbs in it and probably vinegar.
