There are some people who are aware that they have the Machiavellian trait and they do not want other people to know more about it. They can always try to feel more of the emotions that Machiavellians are not supposed to feel like empathy.

Perhaps being more empathic towards other people will allow the person to switch from being a Machiavellian to having a personality that will be considered as more “normal” in the world of psychology. Most people who have this personality trait will be unable to hide it because their natural traits just keep on becoming more evident in the long run.
