Alaska is often considered a frozen land. However, there are, as the previous answer states, plenty of beaches. Since they are beaches, they don’t have a lot of frozen land. It is still sandy, but unlike the beaches along California or on the eastern coastline, they don’t have a lot of people coming to visit them for a holiday away but still having a beach holiday. This is a wonderful place to go for a beach holiday.

Just be warned: if you decide to go to Alaska, it is still pretty cold. You may want to consider taking a better swimsuit than you would for a day at the beach in California or on the east coast. However, there are plenty of beaches to see.

Alaska is a pretty frozen place, big time. However, many of the beaches are not. Moreover, they are usually secluded, so a great place to holiday if you don't want hordes of other people enjoying the scenery with you.

One gorgeous place is Chiniak Beach – Kodiak. Others are great for Halibut fishing. Pick your month, obviously, if you don't want to sit on ice. Otherwise, enjoy the sand, scenery and solitude.
