I don’t think all people lose their curiosity after getting older. It may seem like that if an older person is suffering from some form of dementia or other neurological disorder. In fact, studies have shown curiosity is linked to memory and learning.

So, in general older people are still curious although they certainly don’t display as much curiosity as a child does. But, I believe that is primarily because older people have had many more years to satisfy their curiosity. I think it’s also true that as people live longer, and if they still have a healthy mind, they are curious about a lot of medical conditions that might be impacting them.
