Firstly, the practicality that this event would happen is close to zero. This won’t even be possible in the next couple of billion years. However, for the sake of understanding, let’s assume that earth stops spinning at some point. In this case, the earth’s atmosphere will still carry on moving at the speed of 1100 miles per hour which is the rotational speed of earth.
This would be good enough to destroy all forms of life and signs of human beings such as buildings and even rocks. Hence, the world would immediately come to an end within the blink of an eye.
