Which author do you feel doesn't get the recognition they deserve?

I think Anthony Doerr is an exceptional author who does not get the recognition he deserves. His book All the Light We Cannot See was one of the most well-written, thought provoking, and beautiful novels I have ever read. He has also published a series of short stories that were equally enjoyable and beautifully written.

Although he has won several awards for his writing, including a Pulitzer Prize, he has not yet gained the international fame that he deserves. He is early in his career however, and I am sure we will see more from him and he will continue to gain popularity.
