The way that the muscles over the stomach are laid out when exercised to its highest potential will look like six separate sections on the mid-sections. This is known as a six pack. Everyone can achieve a six pack if they work hard at it. There are certain exercises that can make the stomach look like a six pack. Many people think that you need to do hundreds of stomach crunches in order to achieve a six pack.

However, trainers recommend that you do specific exercises that target these muscles in the abdomen. Sometimes, they may include a version of a stomach crunch, but for the most part, they will include exercises that involve the abdomen working in different ways in order to strengthen them.
