A lot of people are not aware that the heart is not only responsible for pumping blood, it is also responsible for making sure that all parts of the body get enough oxygen so that they can continue doing what they are supposed to do. If the body does not get enough oxygen, various organs will start to die until the whole body cannot function anymore.
