The goals included on the plan will relate to skills that the your child needs to succeed once high school ends. These skills can be taught through curriculum subjects and contexts - for example, social skills being modelled and practiced during group projects - or students can have these skills explicitly taught in other ways. Goals should not be unrealistic given the childs needs and skills. They also should never limit your childs potential to progress and grow.
