There are many reasons why you need to chill your glasses before taking your drink. This will make your drink to be crisp and also stay longer cooled. There is a different way in which you can chill your glass.
First, the fastest method is by the use of liquid nitrogen; this liquid nitrogen cools the glass very fast without scattering it because a layer of nitrogen gas form liquid and also as an insulator.

You can also use the freezer, but this can take a little bit of time before the glassware gets cold or by wrapping each glass in a damp towel before throwing it into the freezer.

Lastly, you can also hold the glass in front of the fan in the freezer; the fan creates an effect by circulating air and keeping the temperatures steady.
