There are some people who are not too familiar with this prayer. Some who know about this do not immediately know what it means because of the deep words that are used. This talks about gaining strength and guidance from the Holy Spirit so that the tasks that people are meant to do will be carried out in the world.
The person saying the prayer asks for help in order to be someone who can help in order to lessen injustices in the world. The person praying hopes to make the world more purified to be ready for the Lord’s coming. Take note that the “Boondock Saints” are young adults who killed some mobsters because they say that they have had a vision from the Lord in order to lessen the criminals in the world.
