Tuberculosis is a complex disease and patient knowledge is essential to treat it. However, if your patient says that the people at work need revisiting, it means that he needs more teaching. This is because these causal contacts are usually not as close as family members and are spared. However, people in the close family and friends need to checked and tested to make sure they have nit contracted the disease.
You need to make sure that the patient needs to take his medications for 9-12 months straight. He needs to understand that the test at the end will determine whether he is clear of the disease or whether he needs to continue treatment.

The client demonstrates effective teaching if he states that hell take his medications for 9 to 12 months, that coworkers dont need medication, and that he requires laboratory tests while on medication. Coworkers not needing medications, taking the medication for 9 to 12 months, and having scheduled laboratory tests are all appropriate statements.
