If you are planning to delete your gmail account, make sure that you are certain of this decision because once you delete your account, there is no more way to recover that account. To delete your Gmail account, all you have to do is to go to your browser and type https://myaccount.google.com. You will then be prompted to a page wherein you will see “Control, protect and secure your account, all in one place.” All you need to do now is to look for account preferences.
Look for “Delete your account or services” and then click “Delete Google Account and data.” The page will prompt you to sign in before you can proceed. Once done, you will be given the option to download your data first. If you opt not to, just tick the box and then click delete account.
