A dog is a subspecies of a wolf. It is an animal and a mammal. Dogs are apart of the kingdom Animalia and the order Carnivora. They are often associated with humans because they are attuned with behavior that humans perform and can thrive in a diet that is starch rich.
These animals can come in various shapes, colors, and sizes. They are extremely helpful to humans, helping with hunting, helping police officers and military personnel, as well as being a companion. Many say dogs are mans best friend because they will follow the owner everywhere and be there for them through every instance.
