How many letters are there in the English alphabet?

There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. The English alphabet is a Latin Alphabet cntaining all the same letters
that are found in the ISO basic Latin alphabet. The alphabet is divided up into consonants and vowels.

The vowels are A,E,I,O,U and sometimes incudes Y. Y is sometimes incuded because every word in the English language includes at least one vowel but some words only have Y as a vowel.
