Lyme disease is a disease that humans contract from a tick bite. Ticks spread Lyme disease. Not all ticks carry this disease, but some do. If you go outside a lot or you travel through a woody area, you need to check your body for ticks. Usually, their bodies will be stuck in your skin. That is how to notice it. At this point, you will not know if you have the disease, but you can get tested and watch for any symptoms that relate to the disease.

Some of the symptoms include a spot on the back that looks like a bull’s eye. The red spot will have a slightly white spot in the middle. Stiffness and flu-like symptoms may also accompany Lyme’s disease.
