The diploid nucleus is where the core has two or a double set of chromosomes in a cell. A homologous chromosome is a pair of chromosomes that are similar. Their similarities include the size and position and a few other things. A haploid is when there is one set of chromosomes. Therefore, there may be a picture of a diploid nucleus. In this diploid nucleus, there are four chromosomes in it.

Then there are also two pairs of homologous chromosomes. One of the couples is long, and the other pair is short. Also, one haploid set is symbolized as black. The different haploid set is gray. The chromosomes have not replicated yet. So, the correct chromosomal conditions for the following stage would be E, e.
