No Japanese film exists that is easily findable in America that fits this description. The closest thing one can find on Google without more information is the Japanese film “Metamorphoses”. This film was originally released in the year1979. It was meant to be a rock-era “Fantasia” type movie. It had five parts, and had a lot of rock music.

There was a lot of criticism of the movie, though. Critics of the time hated this movie, and it was out of theaters within a week. The producers went back to the drawing board; it was said that plotting, animation, and music were all issues and that there had been time to fix it before the release if they hadn’t been so stubborn.
