This question has been a growing issue with some people nowadays. However, it should be noted that in almost all recipes, the ingredients and the instructions provided should be strictly followed – that is, after all, the main purpose of a recipe. Some people who experience recipe failure either like to blame the recipe, but that is not the case. There are several factors why we have a recipe fail and some of these factors are as follows: 1) Oven temperature – whenever you come across a recipe for baking food, it will always tell you the exact temperature needed, but some ovens are warmer or cooler than other brands.

If you will always follow the recipe without checking first the actual temperature, then you will most likely have a recipe fail, and 2) Substitution of ingredients – most of us like to experiment with the ingredients. While it really works, often there’s a good reason why the recipe calls for an exact measurement of ingredients. If you fail to follow the given ingredients and substitute it with other than what is needed, then you can experience a recipe fail sometimes.
