Staph infections plague many children and adults. Children seem to be more susceptible to staph infections than adults. Staph infections begin with a small scrape and can then turn in to an infection when bacteria goes into the scrape. Many people who have a staph infection may feel bad with a headache and fever which is similar to the flu. Different tree oils can help fight the infection by destroying the bacteria.
Ginseng is similar to the tree oils in that it fights the infection. Goldenseal and juniper help fight the infection. Most of these herbs are used by applying them to the face if that is where the staph infection is. Garlic is another herb to use with a staph infection because it kills organisms associated with the infection.
