A few herbs have a comparable taste to certain processed foods. For instance, anise and tarragon have a comparable taste to licorice. Despite the fact that licorice is produced in a factory and it is very sweet, these herbs taste the same as the treat. Anise is found in the Mediterranean zone and in the southwestern zone of Asia. This plant grows tall and produces white blossoms. Tarragon is another herb and it belongs to the sunflower family.

Tarragon is used on numerous proteins to get more flavor. Fennel is another solid herb that has a comparable licorice taste to it. Fennel belongs to the carrot family. Fennel is found in the Mediterranean like anise. However, fennel has yellow blossoms developing from their stems.
