One of the best foods to avoid with a stomach ulcer is actually coffee. Anything with caffeine will aggravate the ulcer. Doctors will also recommend you avoid milk and dairy products - cheese, ice cream, etc. So, no chocolate milk here. Chamomile and peppermint teas have been suggested to ulcer patients because they sooth the stomach lining. They’re also something easy to drink and snack on when you’re thirsty. They also suggest not letting your stomach completely empty for long periods of time. Smaller meals at more frequent intervals are a good way to help soothe pain of ulcers as well.

It’s also suggested that ulcer patients avoid NSAIDS, or non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs like Excedrin. Tylenol is okay though. It’s suggested for everyone that NSAIDS be used with caution.
