Like most other movie theater chains, Cineworld charges quite a lot for popcorn. A medium can run at a price of 4.60 pounds, and a large can run at 5.10 pounds. They don’t give the drink prices online, anywhere, so it’s hard to judge how much it is for a soda or a water. However, you can be sure that it’s more than what you’d pay at the supermarket across the street. There is a reason that the prices for all the snacks at a movie theater are so inflated.
The movie theaters make very little off your ticket sales. So, they have to sell you incredibly high priced food to make up the difference. There are people willing to pay these prices because they rarely ever get to go to the theaters. Others will pay because they want that food.
