On average, the cost of food and drink is more expensive in Norway that is in the United States. For example, a full meal at McDonald’s in America costs around $7. The same meal at a McDonald’s in Norway will cost $11.31 - almost twice as much as the meal in America. A pound of ground beef costs about $3, depending on brand and quality, in America. In Norway, that same pound of meat could cost as much as $14. This is more than four times as expensive as the meat in America.

Yikes. Am I right? It doesn’t stop there. A meal at a decent restaurant with an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert for two people will cost you about $30 in America. That same meal in Norway is $100.50. Dang. For that, you can go see an ametuer play in addition to the meal in America.
