Other kinds of bait that could be used in a mouse trap include marshmallows and gumdrops.

As long as the food is sweet, soft, and high calorie, it’ll work. If it’s nesting season, a different kind of bait is preferred. Use nesting materials - such as twine or floss - to bait the trap.
