This might be considered a weird gift to some people but the best and most untraditional gift ever was my father getting back home from the military on Christmas. He had been at war for just about 3 years, however, they chose to give him a chance to get back home. I truly cherish this present because my father and I are genuinely close.
I can tell him anything, and he won't tell anyone or judge me in any way. I sincerely welcome this since I can't do that with anybody I know. It might not be the most traditional gift, but it was one of the best ones I've ever gotten.
