Who will end up on the iron throne?

Nobody knows who will end up on the iron throne because George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO’s series Game of Thrones are not yet finished. George R.R. Martin is still writing the sixth novel entitled The Winds of Winter and the final book entitled A Dream of Spring.

HBO’s series just finished airing the seventh season, with the eighth and final season set to premier either in 2018 or 2019. With this, fans can only speculate who will sit on the iron throne. HBO may show a certain character sitting on the iron throne, but George R.R. Martin may choose another character to become the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. For now, the only thing we can do is guess and wait.
