The correct answer to this question is C. Seeing the true size and shape of the continents because it is not distorted. While it is not distorted, the map is interrupted. An interrupted map is when the globe has been split. No map projection is exempt from being split, because all of them are split at least once.

When it comes to world maps, they are normally interrupted at the meridian. Most can also be done without any projections from math for the hopes of improving any type of distortion. Whenever there are extra interruptions, they do not create a projection.
