Many people love chocolate. Many foods including chocolate are blamed by teenagers for causing their acne. Although, these foods do not affect a teenager’s acne. A study was conducted several years ago where the scientist fed many acne-plagued teenagers either a chocolate bar that was made of real chocolate and another group of acne-plagued teenagers were fed with a candy bar that did not have chocolate in it.
However, the bar still tasted like chocolate. This was done so the teenagers did not know which group was getting the chocolate. The results found that there was no difference in their acne. Acne is caused bacteria growing in pores. Cleaning the face regularly and without being too harsh is what is needed to stop acne.
