ISO 9000 is a system that includes programs for businesses so that they satisfy customers based on the product or service that you sell. However, it also makes sure that you are meeting the requirements of the regulations set by the state and federal government for trade and selling. In the year 2000, over four hundred thousand certificates were given for ISO 9001.

According to the competitive scope, ISO 9000 allows for meeting your business objectives, shows the risks, and they meet the needs on a consistent basis. The other statements that summarize the competitive scope of ISO 9000 and total quality include efficiency, meets requirements set by the state and federal governments and allows the business to expand to other countries.
