The correct answer is 2 Blocks East.

N=2, S=(-2), E=3 and W=(-1)

Where N is north, S is south, E is East and W is West.

Total displacement= N+E+S+W

T.D.= 2+3+(-2)+(-1)

T.D= 2 in the Eastern direction

2 blocks East.
North (2) - South (2) = 0. North and South cancel each other.
East (3) - West (1) = 2.
The total displacement of a student who walk 2 blocks North, 2 blocks South, 3 blocks East and 1 block West is 2 blocks East.
