The reason the liver is the most thought of organ with alcohol consumption is it’s the organ that has provided the most amount of information to scientists about alcohol consumption.

The liver provides many vital functions to your body such as defending against disease and helping your body process foods and store energy and nutrients. THe liver is also the organ that metablolizes the alcohol while you are consuming it, but can become overwhelmed and not metabolize with too much alcohol in the system.
