Alcohol has a large effect on your central nervous system. The central nervous system is responsible for transmitting signals from your neurons to the rest of your body such as your brain, arms, legs, and vision. With the effect that alcohol has on your central nervous system, it makes it extremely dangerous to operate a vehicle while under the influence.

Alcohol also effects almost every organ of your body including your brain, heart, liver and pancreas. Ingesting alcohol on a regular basis puts you at more of a risk of developing certain cancers such as mouth, throat, esophagus, liver, and breast cancer. If the list of cons of consuming alcohol wasn’t long enough, it also weakens your immune system making your body more susceptible to illness.
