Alcohol can be very dangerous for your body as well as overall health. The stomach and your intestine might get affected due to alcohol. The ingredients, methanol, etc. present in the alcohol produce very much heat in the body, which is not easy to handle.

Alcohol can cause irritation to the stomach, also known as alcoholic gastritis. Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining that is largely cause by the abuse of alcohol. This may cause the stomach to develop ulcers or begin to bleed causing severe pain and discomfort, nausea and vomiting.

After your stomach has developed the ulcers and open sores, you are now more susceptible to developing stomach cancer. Alcohol abuse can be stopped which almost immediately begins to heal the body. Although there is a mix of studies on whether alcohol abuse can cause cancer, it is common knowledge to avoid alcohol abuse.
