Deaf Child Crossing is a children's book authored by Marlee Matlin. In the book the main character Megan gets really excited when Cindy moves into her neighborhood. She is happy to see a girl around her age that she might be able to be friends with. Her excitement is not for naught, Cindy and Megan quickly become best friends.
