The MARK 1 kit consists of a dual chamber auto-injector which contains two anti-nerve agent drugs. One is the atropine sulphate and the other is the pralidoxime chloride. They are typically employed in cases of potential chemical hazard. They also come with CANA, an antidote that works to reverse symptoms in cases of seizures. A non-medical person is allowed to give three Mark 1 kit injections.
Professionals are also typically assigned 3 doses of the Mark 1 kit in order to improve performance and prevent inadvertent use of the drug. The auto injector works instantly to prevent the over use of chemical stimuli in potentially hazardous surroundings.
