Painting with light. Photography refers to the art of capturing pictures, and processing them. Photography is done by recording the light that reflects off from other objects. This is either done electronically through means of a digital camera or chemically through a photographic film.
Normally in photographic cameras, a lens is used to focus the light onto a plate that either records the light digitally or chemically on a photographic film. In a digital sensor, a charge is produced at each pixel. The greater the pixels, the better quality of picture is finally produced. Photography is a very wide industry and involves various different niches.
