How many posts are needed?

A fence will be built to enclose a 100-m by 70-m field. It will need a post at each corner and one every 5 m.

It is 72. You find perimeter first, before dividing by the posts.

It 72 because you have to add the posts at every corner.
68 is the answer without adding 4 posts.

I believe the answer for this question is 66 not 68.

The solution that you have has two posts instead of a post at each corner.
The real answer is 64.
2(100/5)+2(70/5)-4=2(20)+2(14)-4=40+28-4=64
Therefore 64 posts are needed.

2(100/5) + 2(70/5) =2(20)+2(14) = 40+28 =68 Therefore, 68 posts are needed.
