Robert Venturi is a well-known person of his craft, architecture. Besides simply being an architect, Venturi has also with the aid of his wife produced the process in which people look at architecture. He has won one of the main prizes in architecture in the 1990s. In the mid-1960s, Venturi wrote Complexity and Contradiction in Architecture. In this text, he illustrates the modern architecture and ways in which to learn from architecture.

There have been many translations of this book since it is given the honor of being one of the most expert books in its topics. One of the building that Venturi was an architect for is the Guild House in Philadelphia. Venturi is a well-known architect, but he is more well-known for his writings than his architecture.
