Cellar spiders are known as Pholcus phalangioides. These spiders are a little less than 10 millimeters long across the female bodies. Due to their names, the cellar spiders live in basements or the lower parts of houses. These spiders are known for being helpful spiders since they consume other arachnids that plague the world. These spiders like warm weather and are most likely not able to live in cold climates.

These spiders are not violent and have a tendency to keep to themselves instead of attacking. The first thing a cellar spider does if it feels threatened is to shake its web to warn attackers. If other bugs come close, the spider will shake its web as a warning because this spider can consume other bugs rather easily.
