The female deer is called a doe. The doe has characteristics that can make them distinct from male deer. They are very hands-on when taking care of their fawn. They know that if they would not provide the right love and affection, the fawn may fail to survive. Take note that does have differences depending on the type of deer that you will see.

There are some similarities in the way they live through like the fact that they may have to be in groups especially when they go around. A lot of does only live up to 5 years. There are a few that can live up to 10 years but there are some practices that just does not make that possible such as hunting.
