Australia is both a country and a continent. Its capital is Canberra which has about four hundred thousand residents. A mountain range called the Brindabella Ranges is situated close to the capital city. Also the city has forests and plains. Canberra’s climate includes primarily warm days, but some of their winter days are cool. An occasional snow or iciness may be seem but is usually not common. Canberra has a strong economy focusing mainly on safety and administration for the citizens.

After experiencing many environmental problems, Canberra’s government enforced different rules and regulations to control their pollution problems. Many people from other countries move to Canberra including those from nearby New Zealand and Asia. Education is important to Canberra with their universities including Australian National University.
