Oleksii Novikov of Ukraine has crowned the strongest man on earth in 2020. The event, which was supposed to take place in May, was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Novikov is 24 years old, and by history, he is the youngest person to win the award after his second year of competition.

Novikov is 6 feet 1 and weighs about 298 pounds. The competition featured other events, which include the "Hercules Hold," which required competitors to hold 350-pound pillars as long as possible, and the Giant Medley, which consists of carrying metals that are weighed down by two motorcycles.

Novikov broke the world's record when he lifted 1,185-pound bar about 18 inches off the floor; the best record was in an event in 1983.
