Yes, science is essential. Science is broken down into many subjects, which helps explain the importance of it. For example, there is biology, which focuses on all organisms that are living. It helps explain the structure of the organisms, how they are developed, and how they are evolved.

There is chemistry, which explains the elements and compounds that we use every day. There is also computer science, which studies computers and is applied in many different other fields such as math and engineering.

Another type of science is medical science, which is used to explain and help provide care for certain conditions.

Science is valuable because it influences most aspects of everyday life, including food, medicine, transportation, and more. Science improves our lives for so many reasons. Scientific research is responsible for remarkable increases in food production and changing the relationship humans have with food.

In the 1940s, biologists discovered new varieties of crops, such as corn, wheat, and rice, that could generate much more productive harvests in a single field, along with developments in fertilizers and pesticides. This increase in the food supply is known as the Green Revolution. The upsurge in food changed the way agriculture functions.

Science is responsible for significant advances in modern medicine. Once considered deadly, diseases are now easily contained, and this is because of advances such as vaccinations and antibiotics. Even certain hygiene practices, such as washing your hands, comes from science. Science is also responsible for the human use of electricity, an essential component of our modern lives.

The correct answer to this question is yes, science is essential. Science is a branch of knowledge that is proved and explained by predictions and tests. There are many types of sciences, including Earth Science, which deals with the physical aspect of the Earth, as well as the atmosphere. Another science is chemistry, which studies chemicals and elements.

One reason science is important is that it increases fundamental knowledge, which explains how things and allows advancements to be made at a later date. For example, someone had to use the previous concept of X-rays and apply it to use in medical science. Science is also important because it gives way to new advancements and technology.
