How many types of Biodiversity are there?

Biodiversity can be defined as the variation among living organisms that are from different sources. Biodiversity shows how diverse the world can be, and without biodiversity, life cannot be sustained. There are three main types of biodiversity: they are genetic diversity which is the diversity within species found living together in a particular area.

An example is a variation in human, rice, wheat, and so on., Species diversity is the diversity between species found living in a particular area. This includes all species ranging from plants to different microorganisms and ecosystems, which is the diversity of ecosystem where both living and non-living organisms can live together. It explains the variation in animals and living things connected together by the food chain.

There are three main types of biodiversity that are available right now. The diversity within species is also known as genetic diversity. The diversity between species will also be called species diversity. The diversity between the various ecosystems will also be called ecosystem diversity.
