In order to have a better understanding of this condition, it is best to know what Graves disease is. This is also known as an autoimmune disease that targets the thyroid. This is the condition that will normally result in people getting hyperthyroidism.

There are some signs and symptoms that you can watch out for to see some early signs of this condition one of which is sensitive to temperature. There are some people who have this condition who just cannot regulate their condition properly. The answer to this is D. The heat tolerance of people with this condition is a bit off so the temperature should be regulated accordingly.

Maintaining room temperature in the low-normal range-graves disease causes signs and symptoms of hypermetabolism, such as heat intolerance, diaphoresis, excessive thirst and appetite, and weight loss. to reduce heat intolerance and diaphoresis, the nurse should keep the clients room temperature in the low-normal range. to replace fluids lost via diaphoresis, the nurse should encourage, not restrict, intake of oral fluids. placing extra blankets on the bed of a client with heat intolerance would cause discomfort. to provide needed energy and calories, the nurse should encourage the client to eat high-carbohydrate foods.
