Acceleration is equal if a feather and a coin dropped in a vacuum.

A feather and a coin will fall with equal accelerations in a vacuum, but unequally in the presence of air. This is because the air molecules causes a frictional force that opposes the motion of the falling objects.

This air resistance diminishes the net forces for each. Air resistance will cause the coin to fall faster than a but where in a vacuum, both will fall at the same time.
