Hang sheng bank-2. swire pacific limited. -hang sheng sponsor $18,000 for the pledge (which is effecitlvey the entire 350 global campaign) swire granted the fund applied from future generations in the name of hkccc for the campaign - green long march, mid july to august 2009 where 6 members of hkccc will be involved. more information:with the support of swire pacic limited, future generations china hopes to provide six students from hkccc the chance to participate in the glm campaigns in guangzhou and xiamen on the gold coast route 2009. through on-site training and rst-hand experience of the glm, these students will gain an understanding of glm methodology and will develop the skills required to coordinate glm campaigns in hong kong in 2010. by investing time and resources in hkccc students this year, and facilitating their communication with counterpart glm universities, swire pacic limited would be building strong foundations for the incorporation of hong kong into the gold coast route in 2010, thereby increasing its impact and global visibility.in addition: - students from the hkccc will be encouraged to apply for one green seed award valued at hkd 5000; - the best proposal will be selected, with input from swire pacic limited, to receive the award, which will be used to nance the proposed project; - this green seed award will allow for youth and community engagement for a 3-6 month period and pave the way for greater glm participation from students in hong kong. two representatives from hkccc and one faculty representative from hku will also be invited to attend the student forum (5-6 nov) and closing ceremony (7 nov) in beijing, so that they may connect with glm universities on other routes and understand the glms nation-wide programs.
